A second life for a heat-stressed exhaust manifold

A road-car exhaust manifold came in dull, heat-discoloured and surface-corroded. We stripped and prepared it, then coated, baked and polished it in a high-temperature ceramic finish, restoring the look and adding lasting heat and corrosion protection.

Is coating the same as powder coating or paint?
No. We apply high-tech ceramic coatings engineered to manage heat, resist corrosion and reduce friction: protection a spray finish or powder coat cannot provide. We are not powder coaters, platers or painters.
Will a thermal coating improve performance?
Thermal coatings keep heat inside exhaust and engine components rather than radiating it into the engine bay, which supports better flow and protects nearby parts. The real-world gain depends on the part and the vehicle. We will tell you honestly what to expect for yours.
Is ceramic coating better than exhaust wrap?
They tackle exhaust heat in different ways. Wrap can cut radiant heat but tends to trap moisture and grime against the metal. A ceramic coating bonds to the part itself, adds corrosion resistance and leaves a cleaner, more durable finish: usually the better long-term choice for street and performance builds.
Does every part need ceramic?
No. Hot components like exhausts and engine parts need high-temperature ceramic. For parts that do not face extreme heat, we apply a premium durable finish instead. We match the coating to the application, so a part is never over-specified.
What colours and finishes are available?
For high-heat parts, engine components and exhaust headers, we offer black and natural silver. Where extreme heat protection isn't the priority, we offer a wide range of colour options, and can match specific shades where needed (conditions may apply). We prioritise matching the right coating to the job first; colour options follow from there.
