What does a thermal coating do for aircraft parts?

Are these coatings certified for aviation use?
Coating suitability and approval must be confirmed for the specific part and application. We can advise on options and apply the chosen system to a precise standard, but airworthiness and compliance remain with the owner, engineer, AMO or relevant authority.
Is this the same as paint or plating?
No. We apply engineered ceramic coatings that manage heat and resist corrosion on metal components: protection a paint or plating layer is not designed to provide. We are not painters or platers.
Does every part need ceramic?
No. Hot and heavily exposed components benefit most from high-temperature ceramic. For parts that do not face extreme heat, we apply a premium durable finish instead. We match the coating to the application, so a part is never over-specified.
